Name:Beth Ann Callahan (nee Woodman)
Birthdate:Dec 3
Location:Detroit, Michigan, United States

IN HER OWN WORDS

Pain make your way to me, to me
And I'll always be just so inviting
If I ever start to think straight,
This heart will start a riot in me

Name's Beth Ann Callahan, formerly Woodman...yes, I'm adopted. And I only look young. I'm the most recent in a line of long lost, souped up witches called Guardians. I'm also a vampire Slayer. My life is unusual, not to mention weird, and my family's certifiably insane both in mental state and overall make-up. And to make matters worse? I live in Detroit and I have no inner filter.

Say what you will about me, life is rarely never boring.
THE DETAILS
Raised predominantly on the West Coast (California, Arizona, and Nevada mostly), Beth Ann Woodman is the daughter of two Watchers. Her mother, a witch, was descended from the Guardians, a group of mystics who watched over the Shadow Men and their progeny, the Watchers' Council. As a result of her diluted heritage, she ages very slowly, and at the age of 29 still appears to be sixteen to seventeen years old.

It was her heritage that resulted in her parents' divorce when her father left after realizing he couldn't handle being married to a woman who, at fifty, still appeared to be in her twenties. Knowing both his wife and daughter would outlive him, he abandoned them both, leaving both wife and daughter embittered. She eventually took back her mother's maiden name, forsaking her father for good.

At the age of fourteen, Beth Ann became a ward of the state while in Michigan, her mother died in the line of duty under questionable circumstances. Placed in foster care with Felicia Callahan, her attempts to act out were swiftly doused, and ultimately she was adopted and grew to be, for all intents and purposes, a happy and well adjusted young woman. She suffers from occasional bouts of deep melancholy, however, and has fixated on discovering just how and why her mother died.

At present, Annie lives in Detroit with her mother and two siblings, teaching at the local high school and helping her mother with her foster charges. Lacking in a social life despite her gregarious personality, she devotes all of her spare time to investigating her mother's death and the circumstances around the same.
DISCLAIMER
Not Summer Glau. Not Beth Ann Callahan. Annie is a figment of my imagination, and BTVS belongs to Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy. Don't sue, not making money, nobody's hurtin' nobody.
